Pinocchio a wooden fairy-tale boy whose nose grows longer and longer each time he tells a lie. Carlo Collodi wrote this fairy tale story about Pinocchio being a marionette carved from wood by Geppetto. Pinocchio leaves his home and faces a lot of difficult adventures, but by the end he is reunited with Geppetto, and is transformed into a real boy by his good fairy.
